Brian M. Caloiaro & Mark Anderko
Brian M. Caloiaro retired from the Lawrence Township Police Department at the rank of Chief of Police after 28 years of service. He was the accreditation manager and successfully led his police department through their initial accreditation cycle in 2014 and got it re-accredited twice prior to his retirement.
Caloiaro served in every position and command of the Lawrence Township Police Department prior to his appointment as Chief of Police in 2018. He started his career in the patrol division, developed a community response unit, launched and performed the SRO function at Lawrence High School and Middle School, was a Patrol Sergeant and Detective Sergeant, Lieutenant in charge of the Office of Professional Integrity/accreditation manager and was Executive Officer Captain to the Chief of Police.
Caloiaro also had the distinction of graduating from the FBI National Academy, Session #276, and is an Advanced Certified Law Enforcement Executive from the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.
Caloiaro is a member of the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the New Jersey State Association of Chief of Police, Mercer County Police Chief’s Association where he served as Vice President and the FBI National Academy Associates, NJ Chapter.
Mark Anderko serves as a Strategic Partnership Manager for Lexipol. He implements strategic market development initiatives/programs through partnerships and alliances.
Anderko's law enforcement career includes more than 28 years of experience in New Jersey policing. He served as the Deputy Chief of Police with the Edison Police Department, a large suburban/urban department.
During his career, he served as an Adjunct Professor with John Jay College (NYC) and Middlesex College, instructing undergraduate and graduate-level courses in Police Science. He also served as an adjunct instructor for Metropolitan College of New York, instructing graduate-level Emergency and Disaster Management courses.
Anderko also provided instruction for the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Command and Leadership Program. He served eight years as an accreditation assessor for the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police Law Enforcement Accreditation Program (LEAP) and as a staff instructor for the First-line Supervision Program.
