Darren Miller
Head of Policing and Law Enforcement Engagement
As the Head of Policing and Law Enforcement for ADS, Darren promotes the Security industry working in partnership with Government, Police, Law Enforcement Agencies and the First Responder Community in the UK and Internationally.
With the wider Security & Resilience Team, he delivers a core program of security business development activity, at home and internationally. In the UK, he is organising a monthly series of briefing events with stakeholders and potential customers; maximizing business development opportunities at exhibitions and events; and providing insight to members on customer priorities and commercial approaches.
Darren is a former Police Officer with Hampshire Constabulary and Tactical Commander in Firearms and Public Order/Public Safety. He is responsible for planning and delivering various operations including music events, sporting events, protests and other policing operations.
Darren also worked on a range of national policing issues including firearms licensing and ICT programs, as well as chairing the Tactical Coordination Group for Hampshire Local Resilience Forum‘s multi-agency response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
