Vito Gagliardi, Jr.

ChiefTalk is pleased to welcome its guest, Vito Gagliardi, Jr., who has served as general counsel of the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police for 25 years.

He is also Managing Principal of the law firm of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, representing schools in numerous matters and handling an extraordinary variety of employment law matters for public and private sector clients in state and federal courts and agencies, and before arbitrators.

Vito litigates and counsels clients in every area of labor and employment law, including issues of restrictive covenants, harassment, discrimination and whistleblowing. He also handles investigations by management into allegations of employee wrongdoing.

In his spare time, Vito is also chair of the New Jersey Law Revision Commission, which is tasked by the state Legislature with identifying areas of the law that require simplification.

Vito is a longtime friend of the NJSACOP, and we are happy to have him on the show to discuss his many experiences working on behalf of the Association over the years.
